Foreward to the 2008 Legislative Packet By Dr. Clement W. Fugh Greetings: The accompanying ZIP File contains a total of 147 submittals of Proposed Legislation, Amendments to Constitutions and Bylaws, and Resolutions to be considered at the Forty-Eighth Quadrennial Session of the General Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, that will convene in St Louis, MO, July 4 – 11, 2008. Resolutions will be referred to the appropriate General Conference Committees once those Committees are constituted at the General Conference. Special Resolutions will be made available to the General Conference once they are announced and called for. Legislation that has financial implications is so designated in red (Budgetary Impact). It is important to note that the entire listing of Proposed Legislation and Resolutions that appears online may NOT be included in the Legislative Packet that will be presented by the Revisions Committee to the General Conference.
